Savor Blowing Rock Moves to May!

BLOWING ROCK, N.C. (December 2017) –  SAVOR Blowing Rock returns to North Carolina’s Prettiest Small Town in May 2018, a change from its usual weekend in April.  The 2018 edition of SAVOR Blowing Rock will be Thursday, May 3 through Sunday, May 6 in an effort to move the sensory celebration into a month with warmer temperatures and include seasonal residents who typically return in early May.

The 2018 SAVOR Blowing Rock promises to be an even greater celebration of the senses, featuring wineries, craft breweries, spirited liquor distillers, local restaurants, popular chefs and pairing experts.

Popular sampling events include the Grand Wine Tasting, Reserve Tasting, Wine, Craft Beer and Spirits Pairing Dinners, and Taste! A Restaurant Showcase. In addition, seminars and cooking classes cover topics including beer and wine pairing, grilling and more. Other events include Blowing Rock Art & History Museum’s Cork and Canvas and Chetola Resort’s Corkscrew 5K.
